A calm, Spring-cooled evening on a picture perfect turf awaiting the Evendale FC on Friday, April 18, as 12-14 players laced up their boots and played 6v6. Plenty of runs, crossing balls, and scoring for both squads (I think we need to come up with better names than "light" and "dark," you know, like Survivor or The Apprentice ... make a suggestion).
Our next match is Friday, April 25 at 7:30 p.m. My boys team is training immediately before, so feel free to come early and warm up so we can get started at 7:30 p.m. Please post a comment and indicate whether you are IN or OUT this week. There are many, many players (and you know who you are) who told me that they are ready to "start playing" again but have not quite found their way to the pitch ... grab the cleats and shin guards, a white and dark shirt, and come on down.
