Next Match on Saturday, July 19 at 9:00 a.m.

Another outstanding and well-attended match this weekend, as more than 25 players participated in the weekly Evendale FC match. John G. patrolled the Dark midfield, as Abby, Hillary, and Michael F. provide nearly impenetrable defensive support ... and anything that did happen to get through found Keeper Norm at the ready. After a fairly balanced first half, the Dark team mounted repeated attacks, including a laserbeam from Tiz and a header from Ryan just beyond the outstretched hands of Steve B. Fast Feet Ryan squeezed a couple past Norm, trying to bring the White team back (including a curving beauty from about 25 yards), but the Dark team would not be denied. Casey added his own exclamation point just before time expired on a well-earned Dark team victory.

It sounds like many are out of town/on vacation over the next couple of weeks, including yours truly (heading to the Cape for some beach soccer).
