Match Recap ~ Next Match on Friday, August 29 @ 7:30 p.m.

With the EPL returning to action (and Fulham pulling off an amazing upset of Arsenal), the Evendale FC kicked off its Fall season with its first match under the lights, with near-perfect, late summer weather conditions. Sixteen players attended the well-played match, which feature some outstanding play and ESPN-worthy scores. After, well, two goals by Two Goal Dan, Joe R. hit a rocket from just outside the 18, curving into the far post and banking into the back of the goal, to bring his side within one score. Not to be outdone, Brian hit a soft, cheeky chip from 30 yards out, falling just under the cross bar (and catching the keeper off of his line). The Dark team came roaring back, and their persistence was rewarded, as Darren drilled one into the back of the net from Tony M.
