Saturday Morning Soccer ~ October 31, 2009 at 9:00 a.m.

So I am grabbing lunch at Jersey's Mikes in Blue Ash when I see a young 20-something walk in with "SLU Soccer" on his shirt. In this region of Bearcats, Muskies, Wildcats, and Buckeyes, this is a pretty rare sighting. And in quick successive, in comes another young man wearing SLU attire, and another, and another ... The St Louis University Men's Soccer team is having lunch next door, in preparation for their match against Xavier this evening. GO BILLIKENS!!

By popular and unanimous demand, we are moving the pickup game back to Saturday mornings, starting tomorrow (Happy Halloween) at 9:00 a.m. at Evendale Recreation Field #3.

PLEASE post a comment below and indicate whether you are "in" or "out" for the match and, more broadly, please make an effort to post comments here so that everyone can see the expected turnout (we had a fun game of 6v6 last week, and I am guessing that many did not show for concern that we would not have enough to play).

Finally, at least until we work our numbers back up to the 20-25 player range, feel free to invite any like-minded friends to play in the match. And as always, remember to bring white and dark shirts ... team ambiguous players will play keeper!!
