Next Match ~ July 30, 2011 @ 9:00 a.m.

Another terrific turnout last week, as more than 24 players braved uncomfortably hot and humid conditions to put in a Herculean effort on the pitch. Of particular note, as the opening score, Kristen played an amazing, gently curving ball to teammate Danny with both under pressure, for a brilliant header (and repeated the feat in the second half). We could still use some regular keepers, if for not other reason than to prevent me from ever assuming a position between the posts. So if you know of a keeper looking for a fun, recreational game, please pass along the invite.

Our next match is tomorrow, Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. Let's make an effort to get the game underway as close to 9:00 - 9:15 a.m. as possible, in the hope of "beating the heat." Please be brave and post an actual comment below, indicating whether you are IN or OUT for the match, and remember to bring white and dark (not gray) shirts and plenty of liquids.
