The weather has warmed, spring has sprung, and the Evendale fields are lined and ready to go ... which leads directly to the overwhelming question ... Are we ready for some futbol?
Most of the players are primarily interests in full field, 11v11 play, so we really need about 22-28 people involved in the pickup game to keep it going. We typically get those kinds of numbers when the college kids return, but we are going to have to recruit some likeminded players to get there in April and May.
On other housekeeping matters, we will be playing on Saturday mornings at 9:00 a.m. on Field #3, as Evendale is still working on Field #3 (and currently has one-half of the field fenced off).
So here is your mission ...
1. Recruit 1-3 additional like-minded players to play.
2. Post a REPLY to this post and let me know that you are IN again this year, as well as how many additional players you have.
3. Send me an email so that I can add you to the Evendale FC distribution list (if you are not already on it).
Once we get to at least 20 players, we will start scheduling the pickup game again.
Most importantly, GET ON IT. I am more than "ready for some futbol" and I am looking forward to getting the game going.

I played a couple of times last season and am interested again. I'll make as many as I can depending on my kids sports schedules. I also have a friend just moved here from England that is interested plus another coed indoor teammate. daniel.meyer@ge.com
