I think it is fair to say that we are definitely "ready for some football," as my inbox has been blowing up with players ready for the games to begin. And at this point, I am fairly certain we will easily have 11v11 play. So let the games begin ...
The first match will be this weekend, Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. at Evendale Recreation, Field #2, which is the large 11v11 grass field that runs adjacent to Glendale-Milford Road, just east of the intersection with SR 42/Reading Road.
Please post a comment below, with your name or initials, and indicate whether you are IN or OUT for the match this week. I will endeavor to get the weekly posts up by Tuesday and ask that players "chime in" no later than Thursday each week, so that everyone can see how many players are coming.
Please show up on time (which, of course, means 15 minutes early) so that we can divide into even teams and start as close to 9:00 a.m. as possible.
Please remember to bring a white and dark colored shirt ... as always, players wearing gray and team-ambiguous colors will play keeper ;)
