A fun match, hotter weather, but a somewhat lighter turn-out this week, as only 20 players participated in the weekly match. Man of the Match honors unquestionably go to Arthur Joseph (including a one-touch volley that qualifies for Play of the Day) and Greg M. with a couple of quality saves at keeper.
Our next match is this Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. Please post a comment below and indicate whether you are IN or OUT for the match. Please remember to bring white and dark-colored shirts so that we can make even teams.
Also, please feel free to invite and bring like-minded friends and family to play. I think everyone would agree that, with the heat of July and August, a full 11v11 field of play and couple of subs would be tremendous. So get recruiting!!
