First Match of the Year - Saturday Morning, May 7, 2016 at 9:00 a.m.

As many of you know, I usually wait until at least ten people ask the question, "When are we starting back up?" before I start scheduling games.  My thinking is that for every one people who asks or posts a comment, there are 1-2 people lurking out there, ready to play.

So with the caveat that we might have 6 players or we might have 20 players, I am throwing caution too the wind and setting up the first match for tomorrow morning.


And in the spirit of bold and decisive action, and to make this website actually functional, I have a very simple request to make.

PLEASE POST A COMMENT EACH WEEK, INDICATING IN OR OUT FOR THE GAME. 

There are a number of people who travel from places outside of our wonderful little pleasantville community of Evendale, and they would prefer to do something more constructive with their Saturday morning if there is not going to be a game.

In all other respects, it will be Standard Rules and Procedures for the Evendale FC game, which include the "Fair Play Rules" (in the sidebar to the left) AND the encouragement to invite like-minded players to the game until our numbers reach the mid-20s.

Have not touched a ball since last summer, so looking forward to it.  As always, Jogo Bonito!
